GUESTHOUSE ON GIROD POLICIES
Deposit: A 50% deposit is required at the time of your reservation.

Minimum Stay: Minimum of two night stay on weekends (Friday and Saturday nights). If a weekend is available short notice and a one night stay is needed, please call us directly at 985-951-5599 to discuss accommodating that request.

Pets: For the safety, comfort, and convenience of all of our guests, we regret that we do not allow guests to bring pets or service animals to the Guesthouse.

No Shows: Reservations that are not canceled prior to the arrival date will be treated as a no show. No shows will be charged for the total amount of their stay on the credit card we have on file. There will be no exceptions.

Damage: Minor mishaps happen. However, willful or damages due to negligence done to the rooms or property will not be tolerated and will be subject to a monetary damage assessment and will result in an early guest departure. This amount will be charged to the credit card on file. We ask that you please be respectful of our home and its contents including towels, robes, bedding, furnishings, glassware, etc.

Wedding Parties/Special Events: No wedding parties, pre-wedding events or special events are allowed at Guesthouse on Girod as our space is too small to accommodate large crowds. Brides and grooms as well as couples attending weddings in the local area are very welcome!

Quiet Time: Quiet time begins at 9:30PM nightly and we ask that each guest respect the other guests as well as the surrounding community. Our property is located in a mixed residential and light commercial section of our community. There are residential homes adjacent to our property; therefore, parties, large gatherings, loud music and loud activities are not permitted. Gatherings of more than 6 people are not allowed. There are several establishments within walking distance that serve alcohol and allow for large gatherings including but not limited to: The Barley Oak, The Grapeful Ape, Pat's Rest Awhile, Nuvolari's, McClain's, The Old Rail, and The Beach House.

Smoking: Smoking or vaping is not allowed in rooms. Smoking is allowed outdoors but not in the courtyard area as other guests may be in close proximity.

Cancellation: A full refund can be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking if the check-in date is more than 14 days away. After your 48 hour booking window has expired, a 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in. There will be no refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.
